Our modern day healing practices address three out of four of our levels of being. The mental (we try and figure out what is wrong in order to correct it), the physical (this is where modern day treatments primarily focus) and the emotional in the form of psychotherapy and counseling. The fourth and equally important level, the spiritual or energetic, is virtually ignored.
Many of us have tried the first three and have indeed seen improvement, yet true health and well being seems to evade us. Eventually we find ourselves chasing symptoms around without any further advancement of the healing process.
Indigenous cultures understood the importance of dealing with the energetic side of a person in all healing practices in the form of shamanic healings. They understood that every trauma and illness results in energetic damage that must be corrected before an individual can become completely healed.
Soul Retrieval
Soul loss occurs whenever trauma causes us to disconnect from a part of ourselves. This spiritual illness is characterized by negative patterns that seem to reoccur in our lives, depression, failure to manifest, and loss of boundaries to name a few.
